Breastfeeding Information and Meetings
Calling all mothers and mothers-to-be! Interested in breastfeeding? Attend La Leche League’s monthly meetings. La Leche League’s mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

Meetings are held at Birth, Baby, & Beyond (formerly BabyMatters of Cedar Rapids), the second Tuesday of each month at 1520 1st Avenue NW, in Cedar Rapids. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at the meetings. Have breastfeeding questions or need more information? Call Marjorie at 319-447-1499.

The Bradley Method of Childbirth - Natural Childbirth Classes
It's hard work learning, preparing and birthing...but thrilling beyond imagination to experience this MIRACLE! The in-depth classes teach techniques which are applicable in any birth location with any qualified birth attendant.

For most couples, the fifth or beginning of the sixth month is the suggested time to seriously start training for labor. The earlier you start, the better prepared you'll be physically, emotionally and mentally. Classes are small in size (limited to six to eight couples) and last approximately two hours.
